Yep — a small non-refundable deposit holds your time. The good news: it's not lost. It gets applied straight to your service total at checkout.

For retwists, 1–2 weeks usually works. For starter locs, repair work, and special-occasion stuff (events, photoshoots, weddings) — try to book 3–4 weeks out. Things fill up faster than people expect.

Totally fine — life happens. Just give me at least 24 hours and we'll find a new time. Inside that window, the deposit can't carry over (sorry, schedule is tight!). Full details on the Policies page.

With a Consultation, always. I'll look at your hair, ask about your goals (size, length, how long you want them to last), and recommend a starter method — instant locs, comb coils, or two-strand starts. From there we'll book your starter session.

Most clients land somewhere in the 4–6 week range. Stretching it much longer can stress new growth and shorten the lifespan of mature locs. We'll build a rhythm that works for your hair and your schedule.

Yes — reattachment, thinning, weak roots, breakage repair, all of it. Send me a few clear photos through the contact form or text first so I can scope what your visit needs and plan the right amount of time.

All three! Loc maintenance, retwists, braids, twists, and natural styles for everybody. Kids' appointments — parent or guardian needs to be in the studio with them.

Come with clean, detangled hair and skip the heavy product. If you've booked a wash or deep treatment, no need to wash beforehand. When in doubt, just text me.

$100 gets you a deep conditioning treatment, a full retwist, and a basic finished style — all in one appointment, only on Tuesdays. It's my midweek reset bundle.

Absolutely! You can book any Refresh & Relax service as a standalone, or stack it onto a hair appointment for a longer, layered visit. Most people do a little of both.
